Hello and a welcome back to your actually-regularly scheduled week in geek. This week Bat and I talk about Bat’s poor experiences with getting his Xbone as well as this round of Geeky trailer releases. We also cover this week’s streaming review of Finest Hours.

This week we watched the daring coastguard rescue movie, Finest Hours. This movie kind of slipped in and out of the Theaters before we noticed. Though the acting and the sound are on point the movie doesn’t really hit it’s stride until the actual rescue gets on it’s way. Bat said the CG really took him out of it and wasn’t fond of the accents either. While my main issue was with the movies intro and back story. They were a little too convoluted and, as Bat points out, they repeat it 3 or 4 times. Even with our issues we both gave this movie 3/5 stars and think that it’s worth the time spent.
