Hello everyone, welcome to our week in Geek! This week we review our streaming movie from two weeks ago, IO, along with discussing some of the nerd news with Xbox on Switch, PlayStation 5 rumors before wrapping it all up by answering last week’s Podquestion of who is your favorite TV Dad.

Our streaming review for this week was IO on Netflix. It’s kind of sad that when we mention that we’re watching a Netflix Original Movie that we expect something that is not fully baked and won’t really satisfy. What’s worse is that we constantly get proven right each and every time. Sadly IO does not stray too far from our expectations. With the various plots involving the supposed evolution of the human race, the visitor (Mackey) looking for her father, and the pen-pal love letters the audience just gets lost. These kinds of miss step like movies make me think that Netflix should be focusing on Short Films rather than full on Movies.

But with IO, the concept really felt like it had promise but the execution left something to be desired. Feel free to skip this one.

Because we are going to be out for most of the week, YAY Disneyland, we won’t have a streaming movie for this week. But you can suggest a streaming movie that you want us to watch and review on future episodes that are on Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime or HBOgo.
