After the travesty that was The Last Jedi, writer/director JJ Abrams returns to the Star Wars universe to try and salvage the Skywalker saga. Abrams comes out of the corner desperately throwing hay-makers. While some of these punches hit, more often than not, they miss the mark. Instead of feeling like a cohesive trilogy, the Disney Star Wars movies feel like cash in squeals.
